Commercial auto insurance covers vehicles used for business and the people who drive them. It only covers business-owned vehicles. It does not cover personal vehicles used for business purposes.
WHY DO I NEED COMMERCIAL AUTO?
If you conduct a service or business with your personal vehicle. If your business has a considerable weight in tools or equipment or towing a trailer used to conduct your business in your vehicle you would need commercial auto insurance.
